I consider it a privilege to lead the awesome staff and students of Straughn Middle School. Each year brings a renewed excitement as I watch our students and teachers grow and achieve high levels of success. I always enjoy working with staff to ensure all students are receiving effective and engaging learning experiences. I am confident the SMS team is equipped to bring rich and relevant opportunities to each of our students.
As the leader of the Straughn Middle School team, I hope to achieve our mission of “providing students with the skills and knowledge to become respectful, responsible, and resourceful members of society”. I will strive to provide our students with a safe and caring learning environment which is conducive to learning. It is my desire to prepare every student to be a lifelong learner and productive citizen.
I look forward to another year of working with the stakeholders in the Straughn community to provide the support, resources, and partnerships necessary to shape the future of our students. I believe all students can be successful when all stakeholders are involved.
