7th Grade Science Teacher
My name is Angelia Holliday. I have been teaching Science at Straughn Middle School since 2017. I received a Bachelor of Science from Austin Peay State University and a double Masters in Education from the University of West Alabama. STEM Certified, I encourage students to explore our living environment. I promote student engagement and collaborative problem solving with persistence by expanding education that explores our world. My husband and I our proud parents of two children. I love my family dearly and will treat your student with the utmost respect and care. Some of my hobbies include fishing, exploring nature, my love of animals and spending time with my family. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and discovery.
